Marketing Content Writing

Every piece of text your customer reads, on your website, in an ad, or in a post, either answers a question on their mind or leaves it unanswered. Here, content means marketing copy written from your customer's questions and hesitations, not from the company's wish to talk about itself, so your brand says the same thing wherever it appears. I provide this service and manage and oversee the content work, from deciding what needs to be said through to sign-off.

When you need it

  • Your website describes your services, but doesn't explain why a customer should choose you.
  • Your ads say one thing, your website another, and your posts a third.
  • You write the content yourself, in whatever time is left after running the business.
  • You offer a technical or specialized service that's hard to explain to non-specialists.
  • You need content that supports SEO and GEO, but is written to be read, not stuffed with keywords.

What the service can include

The scope of each project is set according to what you need, and may include:

Website copy
home page, service and product pages, about page, and FAQs.
Ad copy
headlines, text, and messages suited to each platform and each stage of the customer journey.
Articles and educational content
topics that answer questions your customers actually ask, based on keyword research where needed.
Video scripts
the idea, the sequence, and the spoken script.
Social media copy
post text and ideas.
Brand voice guide
how your brand speaks, and which words it uses or avoids.

Choosing the language before writing

In Saudi Arabia and the GCC, language is part of the message. Clear Modern Standard Arabic, a local dialect, or a mix depending on the channel? Arabic only, or Arabic and English? Your website may need a different register than an ad on a short-video platform. I settle this with you at the start, so the content is consistent and fits where it appears.

How I work on it

  1. Understand the messagewhat your customer needs to know about you, and what makes them hesitate.
  2. Gather the materialaccurate information about your services and products from the source inside your company.
  3. Set the language and tonefor each channel.
  4. Writinga first draft, reviewed against what we agreed.
  5. Review and sign-offfollowing the approval process we agree on.

What I need from you

  • Accurate, up-to-date information about your services, products, and prices if they'll be mentioned.
  • Someone in your company who can answer specialist questions.
  • Examples of content you like, or don't, if you have any.
  • Review of drafts within the agreed time.

Service limits

Good content explains and persuades, but it doesn't on its own guarantee sales or a certain level of engagement. The accuracy of technical details, prices, and specifications depends on what your company provides, so any text containing that kind of information should pass your review before publishing.

FAQ

Do you write in dialect or Modern Standard Arabic?

It depends on the channel and the audience. Clear Modern Standard Arabic usually suits your website and reference content, while dialect can feel closer on some platforms and in some ads. The decision is made with you, and what matters is staying consistent within each channel.

Can content support SEO without sounding like it was written for search engines?

Yes, and that's how it should be. The words people search with fit into the content naturally, but the reader always comes first. Keyword-stuffed content hurts the experience and doesn't help visibility.

I offer a specialized service that's hard to explain. How do you write about it?

Through questions. I prefer to talk with whoever knows the service in your company and understand what customers usually ask, so the content can be written in language a non-specialist understands, without simplifying it to the point of being inaccurate.
