Brand Identity

A brand identity isn't just a logo. It's the system that keeps your brand looking like itself wherever it appears: on your website, in ads, in posts, on a quotation, on a sign. A consistent identity helps customers recognize and remember your brand. I provide this service, manage the project, and oversee the design work, tying it to what your brand needs to say and to whom.

When you need it

  • You're launching a new business and need an identity from the start.
  • You have a logo, but every design comes out with different colors and fonts.
  • Your business has evolved, and your current identity no longer reflects it.
  • You're expanding into a new market or audience that your current identity doesn't suit.
  • Your identity is so close to your competitors' that it's hard to tell you apart.

What the service can include

The scope of each project is set according to what you need, and may include:

Understanding the brand
the business, the audience, competitors, and the impression you want to leave.
The logo
in the versions your uses require.
Colors
a primary and secondary palette, with clear rules for using them.
Typography
for Arabic and English, designed to work together.
Supporting elements
shapes, patterns, or a photography style that give the brand character beyond the logo.
Application examples
how the identity looks in the places that matter to your business, such as social posts, print, or your website.
Brand guidelines
a reference for using the identity correctly, if included in the project scope.

An identity that works in two languages

Many brands in Saudi Arabia and the GCC appear in Arabic and English together: on signage, websites, and social accounts. That means the logo and fonts have to work in both directions, and the Arabic and English names should look like they belong to the same family, not like one was added as an afterthought. This is taken into account from the start of the project, not after the logo is approved.

How I work on it

  1. Discovery sessionthe business, the audience, the impression you want, and what you like and don't.
  2. Competitor reviewto understand what's common in your field and where there's room to stand out.
  3. Design directionsproposals based on everything above, not on taste alone.
  4. Developmentof the chosen direction, through the review stages we agree on.
  5. Application and deliveryaccording to the project scope, such as application examples, brand guidelines, or files in the formats you need.

What I need from you

  • Time for the discovery session, and candid answers about the business and its ambitions.
  • Who makes the final decision in your company. Many opinions without a clear decision-maker is one of the main things that drags identity projects out.
  • Where the identity will appear: website, storefront, print, vehicles, packaging, and so on.
  • Your current identity and its files, if the project is a refresh.

Service limits

A good identity makes your brand clearer, more memorable, and more consistent, but it doesn't guarantee sales or reach on its own. Its effect shows through consistent use everywhere the brand appears.

FAQ

Is a brand identity just a logo?

No. Logo design is one part of it. An identity also includes colors, typography, supporting elements, and usage rules, and it's what keeps your designs consistent even when different people work on them.

Can my current identity be refreshed instead of replaced?

Yes, and that may be the better option if your identity is already familiar to your customers. I review what you have first, then we decide together whether a refresh or a fresh start makes more sense.

Why do you ask about the business before designing?

Because an identity designed on taste alone may look good but say nothing about your business, or fail to set you apart from competitors. The questions are what give the design a reason.

How do I avoid an identity that looks like my competitors'?

By reviewing what's common in your field before designing. Sometimes the difference is a color nobody uses; sometimes it's a style completely unlike the norm. What matters is that the choice is deliberate.

Does your current identity reflect what your business has become?
