Houssam Shaltout

Marketing Specialist

I work in digital marketing for businesses. My day moves between a marketing plan being written, a paid campaign being managed, a website being reviewed, content being prepared, and data being read to find out what actually happened. That movement isn't distraction. It's what lets me see a project the way the customer experiences it: one journey, not a set of separate departments.

The question I come back to on every project

When an ad dashboard says a campaign drove plenty of clicks, I want to know what came next. How many visitors reached the page? What did they do there? Did any of them turn into a real request?

That's why I work hands-on with tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console. I use them to connect campaign performance with what happens on the website, as far as the available data allows, to understand what people search for before they arrive, and where a visitor may drop off before finishing. These tools don't always tell the whole story, and they can't always attribute every request to the campaign it came from, so I read their numbers alongside the requests that actually come in. The number I care about isn't the biggest one in the report. It's the one closest to real customer requests.

What I work on

I start with marketing planning: who the audience is, what the message should be, and where it needs to appear first. Then come the paid campaigns that carry that message, the website that receives the visitor, the content that explains and persuades, and the SEO and GEO work that makes your business clear to search engines and AI answer systems when people look for what you offer. Throughout, measurement is what tells me whether we're heading in the right direction.

Projects across different sectors

I've worked with a range of businesses, including real estate, furniture and furnishings, restaurants and cafés, retail and e-commerce, consumer products, industry, and business services. That variety taught me not to carry a plan from one business to the next. Someone choosing a restaurant for tonight doesn't decide like someone buying furniture for their home, or someone looking for a property to invest in, or a company choosing a service provider. Each has a different question, a different timing, and a different reason to hesitate, and good marketing starts with understanding that difference.

When a project needs more than one specialty

I also offer websites, hosting management, and professional email. For work that calls for different specialties, such as design and development, I provide the service, manage the project, and oversee its execution, so every part stays consistent with the plan we started from.
