How to get more reviews from your customers

The short answer

Ask for the review when the customer is happiest, and make it extremely easy with a direct link or QR code. Satisfied customers often don't leave reviews simply because nobody asked. And reply to every review, especially negative ones, because everyone who comes after reads your reply.

When to ask

  • Right after delivery, if everything went well.
  • When the customer thanks you themselves.
  • After successfully solving a problem; these reviews are very strong.

Make it easy

  • A direct link to your Google review page.
  • A QR code at the counter or on the invoice.
  • A short WhatsApp message after the service with the link.

Handling a negative review

Reply calmly and quickly: apologize for the experience without arguing, explain what you’ll do, and invite them to contact you privately to resolve it. New visitors judge you by your reply more than by the review itself.

What not to do

Don’t buy reviews, write them yourself, or offer rewards only for positive reviews. It violates platform policies and can get reviews removed or the profile penalized.

Frequently asked questions

Should I reply to every review?

Yes, even a short thank-you for positive ones. It shows you're active and care.

Can I delete a negative review?

Only if it breaks the platform's policies, such as abuse or irrelevant content. A genuine negative review is handled by replying and improving.
